You might be feeling overwhelmed or angry after experiencing betrayal or disconnection from someone you once trusted. Perhaps the echoes of childhood trauma-those moments of feeling unseen, unheard, or unworthy, still shape how you move through your relationships today, even if you’ve tried to leave them behind.

Beneath the anger, anxiety, and loneliness often lie deeper, unspoken wounds. Unresolved pain from the past that continues to ripple into the present. While painful, these patterns are more than struggles; they are signposts, calling attention to the parts of your story that long for care, understanding, and healing.

Hi, I'm Laura. My approach draws on various therapeutic techniques based on attachment and relational theories, used to explore the intricate stories that shape your life. Each method provides a unique lens to uncover parts of yourself that may have once served you but now feel limiting or even painful.

This work goes beyond simply addressing symptoms; it delves into the deeper layers of your history, emotional patterns, and relational dynamics that influence your present. Together, we’ll map how past experiences resonate in your life today, creating space for new insights, healing, and meaningful change.

With over 15 years of experience in social and medical anthropology and community mental health across Canada, South Africa, Scotland, Kenya, and Tanzania, I am committed to creating a compassionate and culturally grounded space for healing and growth. My approach helps clients uncover and transform the patterns that hold them back, empowering them to build meaningful relationships and lead more fulfilling lives.

“The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships, which are basically a reflection of your sense of decency, your ability to think of others, and your generosity".” – Esther Perel
